Peter Cohn, GSE Site Supervisor at Bentley University, and Gabriel Millan, GSE participant at Bentley, were recently interviewed by WBZ Radio about Opportunities for Inclusion's Group Supported Employment program. This interview was conducted to highlight supported employment as part of The Arc of Massachusetts' 70th Anniversary.

Peter, a staff member at Opportunities for Inclusion for over 13 years, has spent the last three years as a group-supported employment site supervisor, accompanying a group of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are not able to work independently to a worksite in the dishroom at Bentley University. He spends the workday with the group, organizing the job each will do, where each needs to be, break times and cleanup activities.

"I enjoy working with this diverse group of individuals, getting to know them well and working with each to motivate them to take pride in their work and learn new skills," Peter said recently.

Gabriel Millan, who works in the dish room under Cohn's supervision, said, "Peter understands us well. I like working with him because he goes out of his way to help us."
