We are thinking of our program participants, their families and guardians, staff members, volunteers, supporters and community members, and hope all are staying healthy and safe.

Opportunities for Inclusion will be CLOSED until further notice. We are assessing the feasibility and timeline for reopening based on state guidelines. Our primary concern is the safety of our participants and staff.
We are running remote sessions Monday-Friday 10 am-2:30 pm for all of our participants
(see details in News below).
Our Adult Family Care (AFC) program continues to operate by telehealth visits.

Our Mission

Our mission is to serve children, adolescents and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in the community, utilizing a person-centered planning approach. We provide quality, flexible programs, services and supports which maximize independence, foster inclusion, promote self-advocacy and build community connections. Opportunities for Inclusion programs are based upon self-determination, sound teaching practices and the latest technology. We are committed to advocacy and legislation to influence attitudes and perceptions so individuals may choose and achieve life goals.

A private 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Opportunities for Inclusion is uniquely sensitive to the level of personal support required for individuals to thrive. We have proven experience with the inclusion of all people into the community.
