Details: SPECTRUM offers 3 unique programs for children and young adults who have developmental disabilities. Our tutoring and mentoring programs involve one-on-one sessions between trained Brandeis student volunteers and the children on the Brandeis campus. Our tutoring program works on developing academic performance in a subject where help is needed and our mentoring program works on developing social skills through a variety of games and activities. Mentoring and tutoring sessions take place one hour per week at a time which is decided between the volunteer and the child. Our playgroup program meets every Sunday on the Brandeis campus with a group of trained student volunteers and children. During playgroup, we have a structured schedule that involves arts and crafts, games, outdoor activities, and working on social skills.

Details: Always a popular holiday treat, the time tested classic show is updated to be100 Years of Magic. Originally a Disney on Ice show that opened on September 3, 1999 as 75 Years of Magic. It has also been known as All Star Parade in some other countries and The Magical World of Disney on Ice. Over 50 Disney characters are in this show. The show is choreographed by Sarah Kawahara. Be there to discover a whole new world with the daring Jasmine, and join Snow White, Aurora and Tiana as they remind you to always be strong, kind and fearless. High-flying jumps, daring acrobatics, breathtaking skating and lovable Disney friends make this an experience your will never forget. Details: Experience the benefits Yoga has on your health and wellness. Yoga uses both movement, music and relaxation with exercises to help make you feel better and more focused. Dance teacher, Annie Close, is our instructor. Wear comfortable clothes and sneakers!

Details: Escape the cold by warming up the hidden artist within yourself. In our art group we will explore new art forms and complete a piece to bring home and display for all. This will be hands on and designed to open up the world of art to the curious or delve deeper into technique for experienced artists. All needed materials will be provided. A light meal will be provided.
